Subjects of Inspiration

Thank you for undigging that gem.
It reminds me of "The Difference Engine" by Bruce Sterling & William Gibson? which I haven't read, but keep meaning to. It describes a Victorian steam powered world that would/could have happened had Babbage's first computer actually been built at the time of invention.
Couldn't help but be moved by this....and thanks for the reading tip...when I finally have time again, I'll make sure to take a look...
