More on the Fall Out
Well, it's nice to know that I'm not the only one wondering about my situation. It's good that the Fall Out is getting notice, particularly outside of our profession. I already heard back from my first firm - they are not currently hiring. Surprise.
Maybe I need to set up a stand...or go back to taking out personal ads.

i suppose i'll stop lurking and actually comment after reading your blog in my google reader feed. (sorry, that sounds so creepy...). i just saw that article from a friend from studio. "According to the latest data available from the Department of Labor, employment at American architecture firms, which peaked last July at 224,500, had dropped to 184,600 by November."? that's almost 18%!
apparently 4 people were laid off at CRSA this past week (including someone who i thought was a solid part of the firm). i know that angela dean is working on my next door neighbor's house, though she was very cold and said she wasn't hiring when i talked to her in august. maybe there's something you can do with your english major background too? best of luck!
